“While on a showing tour in Boulder, CO, I visited with Stan and he showed me how he went about constructing his highly colored hand-painted 16mm films. We see him explaining his materials, the difficulties, the percentages of useable footage and the final optical printing of same. I filmed all this on video-8, which was recently transferred to DVD by Patricia Kavanaugh at UCLA.” –Lawrence Jordan.
