“Operating at the intersection of exhibition and distribution Canyon Cinema, one of the key foundations of the Bay Area film ecosystem, has presented, preserved, and provided access to avant-garde and experimental artist-made film. Since 1960 they have organized programs for curious audiences offering up cinematic views of historical and contemporary experimental moving image work. Join us for an afternoon of contemporary Bay Area works on film and video from their catalog. Curated and hosted by Brett Kashmere, executive director, Canyon Cinema.” (YBCA)
