Rent, License, Purchase
Canyon Cinema’s rental fees are determined by, or in collaboration with, our artist members according to the length and format of the work.
Prices listed in Canyon Cinema’s distribution catalog for film and digital media rental reflect the fee for a single screening of that title. This fee includes rental of the title in the specified format as well as public performance rights for a single presentation. All the titles listed in the catalog are available for screening worldwide. Additional handling fees and surcharges may apply. To make a booking request or obtain a quote for a screening please refer to our How to Order page.
For repeat screenings, each subsequent showing of the work(s) on the same day or a consecutive day will be billed at 50% of the base rental fee. For repeat screenings on a non-consecutive day, the full base rental fee will typically be applied. Fees for exhibition to audiences of more than 150 people must be determined in consultation with our office.
Payment must be received prior to delivery of material unless credit is arranged or an official purchase order is submitted.
Rental Fees for Public and Educational Screenings
The following fee schedule is a guideline for public and educational screenings. Please consult the individual film listings on Canyon’s website for specific fee information. For online/streaming presentations, see below for pricing details.

Handling Fees
Canyon’s handling fee for all film print and digital media rentals is billed on a per-reel or per-file basis.

Shipping
Rental, licensing, and sale prices do not include shipping costs.
Customers are responsible for covering the cost of shipping by providing a courier account number (FedEx, UPS, etc.) or a prepaid shipping label.
Canyon cannot quote shipping rates. If the customer opts for a prepaid label, we will send shipping instructions including the weight and dimensions of the package prior to the shipment date.
Rush Fees
Booking requests must be submitted no less than two weeks in advance of the requested screening date(s). A $50 rush fee may apply to late requests.
For international orders, a rush fee is applied for bookings received less than three weeks prior to the screening date(s).
All orders placed with five days or less advance notice are subject to additional rush charges.
Please note that the processing of rush bookings is dependent upon the availability and schedule of Canyon staff.
