This is a double-disk DVD set of two digitally restored films about the American Penal System: The Hide Out and On Their Honor.

1. The Hide Out: Features the Utah State Prison. A documentary portrait about life in prison, which on the surface captures the bureaucratic process in which the inmates find themselves caught up in. What is discovered underlying this place of punishment is a convict sanctuary.

2. On Their Honor: Featuring the Ohio State Hocking Honor Prison Camp. A documentary portrait of a prison logging camp where inmates can smell their freedom, but cannot taste it. The double-disk set includes detailed production notes for each film.
