Toney W. Merritt

These films are representative of work completed over the past 51 years. They somewhat reflect my personal journey through life, presenting a wide range of concerns and methods in the story telling process. They place emphasis on the individual's place in the world; Who a person is as opposed to What they are. These films contain a measure of angst, irony and humor. Without the latter, it would all be bullshit.

Few descriptive notes are being offered; I have always felt that they only reflected my feelings about the films at the moment of writing. Most of the films are short. I am ever mistrustful of films where the descriptions are longer than the films themselves. The journey continues.
