Azian Nurudin

Azian Nurudin was born on Penang Island in Malaysia. She received a BA from Mills College in Oakland, California and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.

Her works have been screened at film/video festivals, galleries, and museums throughout the world. Universities, libraries, and individual collectors have purchased her films and videos.

Nurudin has been awarded several grants including a California Arts Council Artist Fellowship, Film Arts Foundation grant, and the Long Beach Museum of Art video production grant.
